Account data stays encrypted on-device
Your team selections, alert preferences and reading history live in encrypted local storage. We do not sell, share, or rent them.
No camera, microphone, contacts or location
The app requests no permissions it doesn't actively use. There is no background tracking, no advertising SDK, no third-party fingerprinting.
Live data sourced from official feeds
Match data is fetched from BCCI, AIFF, PKL and ATP/WTA public endpoints. We do not scrape or replay third-party broadcasts.
Crash reports are opt-in
Diagnostic crash reports are anonymous and off by default. If you turn them on, no personal identifiers leave the device.

Yes — the app is free on both Google Play and the App Store. There are no paid tiers, no in-app purchases, and no "premium" features hidden behind a paywall.
Does it work without an account?
You can browse scores and read every editorial story without creating one. An account is only needed to save favourite teams across devices and to receive personalised alerts.
Where do live scores come from?
Direct feeds from BCCI for cricket, AIFF and league partners for football, Pro Kabaddi League for kabaddi, and ATP/WTA endpoints for tennis. We cross-check the public feed every 30 seconds.
Which sports are covered?
Cricket, football, kabaddi and tennis — with men's, women's and age-group tournaments where the governing body publishes an open data feed.
Does it drain my battery?
Live scores use a passive push channel and only wake the screen when an alert you have opted into actually fires. In testing, the app uses ~3% battery per match-day on a modern device.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app → Settings → Account → Delete account. All associated data is purged within 24 hours. A confirmation email is sent before the deletion starts.
Is there a referral or bonus code?
No — SportsAdda is a free scores-and-news app. Any "referral code" or "bonus code" page you find is for a different real-money gaming product that we may, or may not, link to.
How can I report a wrong score?
Tap the match card → "Report a score" → submit. Our editorial desk reviews each submission against the official league feed within five minutes during live play.

Every score on SportsAdda is reconciled against at least two of the listed public sources within 30 seconds. Where a feed disagrees with a broadcaster's on-screen graphic, the feed wins — and our editorial desk writes a short note on the match page explaining the discrepancy. We do not paraphrase third-party commentary; quotes are always linked back to the original publisher.
